Please explain how he was a liability. I may just be completely unaware so am hoping for more info on that.
He's as slow as f*cking mollasses. We're talking about getting younger and faster and people are talking about bringing back a 37 year old James Farrior. Why? Only God knows. |
Farrior was a warrior ... cant believe we let this guy go ... his time has passed ... time to move on. Younger and Stronger.
You're just saying that because Farrior and warrior look so similar (don't quite rhyme though). |

Who said they were? And who honestly believes that we'll open up the season with any of those guys seeing extensive playing time? Do we need help at ILB with Bart on the way out? Sure. But trying to patch the problem with a f*cking dinosuar like James Farrior isn't the way to go. |

Right now, Farrior >>>> Scott. Who else is available? I'd probably opt for that guy, but let's not fool ourselves in thinking Farrior isn't an upgrade over Scott or Mauga. |

You're not exactly upgrading here. At least the guys we have have the potential to get better. Farrior is nothing but a downward trajectory. |

LOL These guys are depth players. They're special teamers first and foremost. What team in the league has a cast of studs as their 6th, 7th, and 8th LB's on the roster? Farrior is totally f*cking useless at this stage. I'd actually put better odds on him retiring at this point than signing with another team. |

Only God knows.
i'll pose the question again since it has yet to be answered. IF the Jets trade Bart Scott, are you comfortable w/ what is currently on our roster to replace him for a 1 year stint as a stop gap? If not, who would you like to see take his place? |

Exactly. It's like saying get rid of Hunter - but then Ducasse starts. |
Don't take it personally - they're just lashing out against the "SIGN THIS BEAST FOR SHORT MONEY" mentality.
Its just strange that its coming from Stokes and Jordy - they're usually amongst the more timid of posters.
LOL. Yup. Me and Stokesy. Timid. |

precisely. and FWIW, I'm all for getting rid of Hunter and would honestly rather have Turner starting. Our MLB situation is different. |
It's called embelishment.
Everytime someone gets released, the knee jerk reaction here is "yeah, if we can steal him away on a one year deal for short money--why not?!?" _
You're just tired of seeing the word "short" everywhere you go....... :alien: |
