Well, Jets could use a blocking tight end.
Listen its not like he would be our starting QB. I wouldn't mind having Tebow as our version of slash. Some wildcat, some 4th and short, 3rd and short, a little H-B, FB etc....

It won't cost a lot to get him thats for sure.
It's a cluster f**k. Would be a catastrophic move, IMO. That's what we get for hiring Sparano.

John Conner hasn't been that great. Might be a decent upgrade.

Why can't Tebow be out OLB got strength, size and speed, young and will never have to throw except for a lateral on D?

Religious fantacism aside, I have no problem with Tebow. Provided he doesn't line up behind center for anything other than a "wildcat" type play.

The kid's an incredible athlete and has a ton of heart.

Can't throw a spiral to save his life bless his heart.

I don't think it would be smart to go after tebow at all. This would be terrible.

Why?

I assure you he's a better RB than Bilal Powell.

LOL… funny.
The mods dumped the other thread.
No one wants to hear that Tebow could be a Jet, even if it’s based on fact…
I called it a week ago, said it could happen and was ridiculed on this forum.
:D

I hate Tebow as a full time starter, but I'm for any trade to make the team better. Tebow could be a very useful weapon to the team in certain situations. And at worst, a decent developmental project. I'm ok with this if the price is right.

==========================================

Is he not getting paid as a 1st round QB, I have no idea what his contract pays but doubt we could afford him in light of other team needs.

Then again if Tanny wants him I am sure he could figure out a way to make it work.

Do you really want a QB competition between an option QB and Sanchez?

Of course we could get some production out of him as an option QB but we probably can get that production out of Kerley.

The problem with Tebow on the Jets is Sanchez might not be as good as Orton and the last thing the Jets need is the fans calling for an option QB to start.

More gimmicks on offense. Yay. Our coaches are scared to run a standard NFL offense

His presence on the roster alone would prove to be the greatest distraction in the history of the planet. A fractured locker room would become the Hirosima of locker rooms.

If you have any hopes at all of Sanchez becoming a player, the last thing you want are the Jesus freaks invading Florham Park and renting out billboards on the BQE.

Are we back to the concern for Sanchez' feelings and the coddling issue?

If Tebow could come in and spark the offense in certain situations, and can help this team win, I see no problem with it whatsoever.
