What I am saying is....always consider the source. A former failed Vegas betting-line shyster and failed Libertarian VP candidate looking for his next gig...HEY I KNOW!! I'll be the next Glenn Beck! Obama is a Socialist! There's some low-hanging fruit to incite the mouth-breathers into a tizzy! Ratings gold Jerry! GOLD! |

With advertisers having left Rush Limbaugh there is a niche that is available to be filled.

Debate what he said, not what I think, not who is "mouth breathing" and who lost advertisers. You can't! |

We were already socialist before Obama and will be socialist after.
Tax rates are at their lowest since the 20s and we're in a debt crises, we need more money. Socialized medicine yields a larger percentage of people with coverage and a lower cost as a % of income. /End thread. |

That should read "lower cost per capita as a % of GDP". Healthcare costs are going up at a rapid rate, at least with the mandate we'd have more people paying into the system... http://www.kff.org/insurance/snapshot/oecd042111.cfm |

They're both such stretches of the truth that they aren't even worth addressing. |

They're both such stretches of the truth that they aren't even worth addressing.
I never made a claim that 'obamacare' reduces costs, rather maintained that it's been proven the world over that government run healthcare reduces costs less and insures more. Romney...err... Obamacare, is not quite the systems of Germany, the UK, France, Sweden, Norway and... Hawaii. Universal healthcare is not a mandate that you buy insurance - it's simply part of your taxes. When we get to that, we'll be paying around the same 10-13% of our GDP, with universal coverage for our citizens, as the rest of the developed world will, instead of 17-18% right now with millions uninsured. |

As a socialist, I am offended that anyone would consider Obama a socialist or even liberal for that matter.
