McDonald's France currently offers four burgers garnished with local cheeses.

For now, the McBaguette is a limited-time menu item, available for six weeks only, although if it proves to be popular, this French twist on an American sandwich could become part of the regular line-up.

I would pay $6 for one, one time. Looks tasty but $6 for a cheese sandwich doesn't strike me as anything to write home about.
I figure the cost breakdown is 25 centimes for the bread, one Franc for the cheese and 50 centimes for the lettuce. About another
Franc for the overhead. McFrenchy is screwing the Frieboys on this one. Now if they added the fatty ham they could sell it as a
Jambon with cheese and then it would only be overpriced by about 100% compared to getting a real Jambon on the economy.

I'm keeping all my Francs. Marks. Pounds, Kronas, Krones, Lira, Marrkas, etc. It's only a matter or time when the Euro will go belly up and the European states start another World War and everyone reverts back to the original currency. Then I will become a power money broker. What do the French call a Big Mac? A Big DeGaulle?

Ahhh, I did not see the meat. So, $6 for that looks like a fair deal with the meat. On another note. can I still use Francs to pay for stuff in France?
