I canceled my subscription.

Seriously though. Do you mean how many people think that those policies are intended to make America fail, will make America fail or believe those are the right policies for America?

The future looks scary. That is for damned sure. What is really scary is how our kids are being taught that man is causing global warming from a young age. I was watching a CARTOON the other day and one of the characters was being ridiculed for not subscribing to the view of man made global warming. A f%#*¥ng kids cartoon!!!!! I mentioned this in a thread I startedthe other day. I watched a compelling documentary the other day. Here is the youtube link.

Yes. Its obvious that all the countries problems are caused by...

environmentalists.

(I'm just glad no one blames us Jews anymore.)

Change the word "environmentalists" to "progressives" and you'd have it right.

Sadly and ironically it is those same progressives (even some progressive jews) that often love to blame the Jews for all the worlds ills.. Whether it is the left wing implication on the that "the neocon (jewish conservatives) are pushing for wars in the middle east" during the Bush era. Or the more current "Israel lobby controls congress" EX: Tom Friedmans remark that "Netanyahu's standing ovation in congress was bought and paid for by AIPAC".

Naw.

To suppose that tree-huggers do everything they do in an attempt to eventually destroy America, one, gives them too much credit...and, two, is made of the same stuff as 9/11 truthers.

The video is ridiculous. It has some good points...but is of the same vein of the wacko's it tries to ridicule...

Yes... thousands of scientists have conspired to make oil more expensive and none of them leaked it out because they are not only scientists they are ninja spy masters...

It has nothing to do with both India and China having economies that grow at 8+%, year after year and that India and China r willing to burn $100 barrels of oil like it they were $50...

It has nothing to do with the “easy to get oil” being sucked up and burned and now it is cost effective to harvest the "difficult to get oil"..

Yup, this isn't supply and demand it is a giant conspiracy...

You misunderstand the point of the video. They aren't saying that environmentalists and progressives are deliberately trying to destroy america. They are saying that the policies they pursue (quite possibly well intentioned) are destructive. Not sure how that is a conspiracy theory. What the video says is absolutely true IMO.

Huh? Domestic oil production on federal lands is down 50% since 2007. We have an energy secretary and president on record stating that in order to enact their environmentalist green energy agenda we need to drive fuel prices up to the levels seen in Europe. We have an EPA that plans to shut down close to 40 coal fired power plants and has shut down any possibility of building any new coal plants. We have an Obama appointee heading up the southern region (oil and gas region)EPA that is on record saying they want to "crucify" oil and gas companies.

This is reality.

US oil production last year rose to its highest level in almost a decade, thanks to an increase in the use of “unconventional” extraction techniques .
As a result, analysts believe the US was the largest contributor to the increase in global oil supplies last year over 2009, and is on track to increase domestic production by 25 per cent by the second half of the decade.
But he only said on "federal lands"...

Federal lands, which include offshore projects btw...

I wonder why offshore projects saw a decrease in the past several years while overall oil production went up?

I don't subscribe to this.

Fossil fuels are finite, expensive, increasingly difficult and damaging to extract from the environment and we know that our use of them is contributing to global climate change.

Those are all indisputable facts.

As is the industrial development of the two most populous nations in the world, China and India.
