Hampur if you must, but I was definitely not being a racist .. Id have said the same thing of anyone of any color that had mega scars like this.

And yes ... I do regret bringing up.
Ugh, the bandages could have been on freshly branded arm?

And yes, I would regret bringing this up too.

You can't tear them off. That's his skin. That was how his body healed itself after he was branded.

Lol. You can tear off skin, even skin hardened by scar tissue... The brand obviously won't peel away like a bandaid...

Maybe he can peel them off and have them matted and framed.

That would look cool.

On the wall.

Scar tissue that deep is often difficut to get rid of. When I was in the military, a friend of mine was shot through his mouth and got a nasty patch of scar tissue just below his bottom lip. It was like a big pointy blob on his chin. He tried to get it cut out a few times and it just kept coming back. I'm not sure if it was just his case or not but I don't think it's just a matter of removing the damaged tissue sometimes.

Those things are disgusting to me. Nevertheless, who cares about if he has them or not, just go kill Brady.

I hope he bandages them like in that picture during games. I don't think he bandaged them in games this year. I think that picture was taken when the wound was still fresh and he was protecting it.

Yes, they can be damaged because they are very pronounced. I bet they hurt if you push them inwards.

I played basketball in college with guys with similar brand scars without injury or incident. Nothing to worry about.

Anyway to the point, black skin is more prone to this scarring called Keloids.

There's nothing racist about it, these marks on his shoulders make me vomit in my mouth a little. It's self-mutilation and done like this looks absolutely disgusting to me, looks like you could chew them off. Certain African tribes will do this to their infants as they are seen as a sign of beauty, though they're smaller and symmetrical - these don't bother me in the least. It's a cultural sign of beauty. But QC's arm growths are just stupid bone-headed fraternity crap that college kids do and if they're being honest when they get older would admit they were a big mistake.

This is the 21st century, there's deeper, more healthy, and more mature ways to show solidarity than putting hot iron in the shape of a fraternity symbol against somebody's skin causing 3rd degree burns, intentionally inflicting a special kind of scarring that grotesquely protrudes from one's skin for the rest of their lives.

Actually, lots of people, even when they are older, perhaps even if they are "professionals" in the civilian world, are quite content with their brands.

It's a personal thing just like a tattoo. Some people might regret it later while others don't.

WRT to the OP, yes, there are a number of different treatments that Coples could opt for if he wanted to, but they have varying degrees of success.

I don't think the clipboard can cause serious damage, so unless he's banging the waterboy's girlfriend he'll have no worries.

And you came to this conclusion how? I graduated Cum Laude, working on my Master's, got selected as Employee of the Year(mind you I'm the youngest Student Advisor, 27), a leader to my kids at the boxing gym I coach at, and proudly carry a brand on my right shoulder. If more people actually took the time to talk about things they know of rather than WHAT THEY DONT KNOW OR UNDERSTAND, we wouldn't have so many A--holes in the world...

By the way... Univ of Texas band (predominately white) for years has been known to give Longhorn brands to some of it members...

This thread is idiotic. Should Coples be concerned about his fingers being ripped off also, because they also protrude from his body?

I've scoured the Internet ... Could nt find a definitive answer. If there were no way they could get caught on a face mask or something i would not even bring it up.

Am I the only person thinking about this?
i can assure you i am not thinking about the brands on the arms of Coples...
