google the quotes from his team mates and coach at signing time. He's holMEs 2011 redux,
Find them, go ahead. Holmes redux, please, proof of anything here? You don't have a clue about the guy. Other than you posting the definition of a word that most should know already. Of course this is a nightmare, because THE SKY IS FALLING!!!!! |

theres a reason why the skins got rid of him and the best thing he was offered was a 1yr deal by us. i said all along this guy is a walking injury. if he does play this season it'll be 1 or 2 games before he gets hurt again.
his name should be laron softy. reminds me of gholston |

He really should be with the Jets for OTAs, at least in the classroom. like everyone was saying earlier in this thread, there's a reason we signed Bell -- and guaranteed him way more money |
The Jets have signed Landry and Bell, and have drafted Bush and Allen?? What more do you want?
agreed...the jets did everything they could to address the safety position this offseason... let's assume Landry doesn't play a single down...we still have a vet and 2 rookies plus last years fodder... jets will be OK at the safety position... it's the RT position that I'm concerned about. |
We don't know the details dude, for all we know he spoke to Rex and wanted to continue to rehab at his home and he got the team's blessing. If that's not what happened, you're still overreacting. These are voluntary.

I say good riddance! Landry was/is uber talented, butthe man just can't stay healthy. PEACE OUT! And, true to form, he hasn't showed up to the classroom where he could have started building some chemistry with his new team mates. Maybe my comments were a little harsh but in addition to the leadership we are losing with Leonard it's a double hit. |
Still rehabbing, tanny says he should be ready for regular season but will be a challenge. Now I see why they signed bell
Brilliant signing. $1.75M down the tubes. If they were willing to ultimately give this guy $3.5M, I think the Jets should have been more aggressive in pursuing Reggie Nelson. I'd be pretty satisfied with Nelson and Bell with the two kids backing up. |

Ive hated the landry signing from the beginning....big injury risk but more then that he is not very good in coverage which is what we need.
I understand that we addressed the position with his signing, but I don't see how he fits in, especially given the complicated nature of our coverages. It took pool half the season to get comfortable back there and I don't believe he had the "classroom attitude" that landry has. I hope he is a situational blitzedr or not on the 53 at all....we need speed and character here.. |

Not impressed with Landry at this point. You've never played with a team
or coaching staff and you're coming to a totally new defensive scheme. And you don't show up??? Even if you are still rehabbing your injury you should be around the facility and "the boys". Good thing Tanny constructed his contract based on games played. To tell you the truth with Bell being signed and the kids we brought in I wouldn't be shocked if he's let go. |

Looking back at when we signed Landry and Bell was released both
occurred on March 19th. I wonder if Bell was on the market before then would we have ever sniffed around Landry? Remember the free agent safety market was pathetic |

You're clueless and desperate. He hasn't gone to OTA's to rehab. We got it, knew it and said it. You're called him a locker room cancer. Havent seen it. You haven't cited it. You posted that he missed OTA's and had issues with the Skins med staff. Desperate and clueless, making something out of nothing to fit your dumb argument. Why do people that dont have a single clue as to what happens in a locker shoot their mouths off as if they spent significant time in that locker room? And BTW, Shanny has been a complete doosh who has handled his roster like a clown Last edited by Jet Nut; 05-22-2012 at 02:22 PM. |

Why all the vitriol dude, you sound like I insulted your b!tch, or more likely the other way around. :bunny: Show me why he can't rehab and do classroom at the same time? Or why his disappearing act in Washington, despite his promises to the contrary, are being repeated here? |
