By the enthusiasm displayed you'd guess France is already eliminated and Sweden is playing for 1st place

Wow we sucked. Confidence from our first 2 wins shattered.

Not sure how we managed to win that one, rode our luck a bit and got lucky with a bad referee decision.
Though we would struggle to make it out of the group at the start of the tournament so I'm delighted to have picked up 7 points and finish top.

Good luck for today's game, Raoul - though I've tipped against the French wouldn't mind them winning it.

Zenedine(sp?) Zidane

And just like the result of that match, you can say the same about the result of today's game: Au revoir, Les Blows.

Just like Raoul predicted, the Italians make it through to the semis. Great keeping from Buffon against England.

The first save he made that hit him in his palm was awesome... That hits any other part of his hand and it is getting behind him.

With that said, I watched the game at The Londoner... Losing basically ruined everyone's afternoon. I should have hedged my bet and laid down money on Italy so I could have at least smirked quietly in the corner...

In the Pick em game I had a 1-1 tie, and Italian win after shootout. Wasn't far.

I don't give them much of a chance vs. Germany though.

I picked Portugal against Spain. They could bring the upset.
