"There are different ways of staying focused," Ramm said, adding that Eielsen did not deny having played a game of cards.

On July 22, 2011, Breivik first bombed a government building in Oslo, killing eight people, before going on a shooting rampage on the nearby island of Utoya where the ruling Labour Party's youth wing was hosting a summer camp.

He killed 69 people in his island massacre, most of them teens.

I doodle, play solitaire or minesweeper or some other mindless activity all the time while on conference calls and such. I hate to be the party pooper here but these activities help me to pay attention.

Now if it was chess or porn...

"Court reporters observed the felonious exposure of Mr. Thompson's private parts, and testified to the fact during the criminal trial," Judge James Winchester said in the ruling, according to The Oklahoman.

"That trial resulted in conviction of felonies. Those felonies violated Mr. Thompson's oath of office," the judge said.

Thompson was a district judge in Creek County from 1982 to August 2004.

He will still receive retirement benefits from his stint as a state legislator from 1974 to 1980, the newspaper said.

I don't see what the big deal is. It's solitaire, not exactly something that is all-consuming, so I'm sure he can pay attention to the trial.
