Lets hear Jet fan predictions for 2012

Just want to know the pulse of the Jet fan base going into this year.
Where will the Jets rushing game finish. Top five, Top Ten a little worse than that

Where will the Jets defense finish. Top five, top ten or worse than that.

Where will the Jets passing attack finish top five, Top ten , or worse than that.

Where will Jets oline finish- will it be a one of the better units, Will it be average or will it struggle.

Mark Sanchez will he finish in the top ten. The top fifteen or will he be in the twenties.

Where will the Jets rush defense finish top five, top ten or worse than that.

Where will the Jets pass defense finish- top five, top ten or top fifteen.

Last one non Jets question. When will Raider9175 stop showing his face on Jet board. First three games, First eight games or will he be here the whole season.

Our offense is going to be EXPLOSIVE.

We've got CHAZ SCHILLENS. He's 6'4" 230 lbs. He's like Calvin Johnson, but better. He's going to catch 200 passes for 4,000 receiving yards and catch 50 TDs.

NO ONE CAN COVER THIS BEAST!!!!!!!

Jets go 18-1...............winning the Super Bowl.

They'll finish ahead of the Raiders in every category so they have to be top 5 in all positions.

I think our O will be top ten this year. We have a strong run game and Sanchez has all the tools to be a success. The excuses stop here. He simply does it or he is done. As far as our D I expect them to be what they have been. Yeah you will not see any double digit guys getting sacks but overall as a team they can stop anyone. I really think this is our best shot at winning the division sense BP left.
8-8
Vegas has them win 8.5 wins, I think the defense will be good ,however they are due a major injury to a core player(law of averages). For a for a team with a new oc,it usually takes the offense half a season to be comfortable with the new plays .I think 7-9,top ten defense ,with a extremely limited offensive effort. Hill is extremely raw and it usually takes a rookie 3 yrs to excel at wide out. We are average in the back field, slightly above average o-line,average wide outs, average tight end, average quarterback...Special teams might get us a game but we are good team in a tough division. 9-7 at best

I appreciate that you can laugh at yourself with your last question. Betting against Rex to be in the top 5 is a losing bet in general. Defense should be improved and should be top 5. Rush offense should be improved just because of more attempts - this should also go hand-in-hand with the improved defense. Statistically Sanchez will be middle of the road, but efficient and definitely much improved in the turnover ratio. OL will be good but not excellent. I think it's about a 10-win team, borderline WC and probably playing important games to determine if we qualify for the playoffs late in the season.

Good luck to you and the Raiders in 2012, hopefully you show your face win lose or draw. I for one like your passion for your team and that you can mostly take as good as you give.

I just placed a bet with a fellow JETS fan (a SOJ fan) for MORE than 8 wins. Every game below 8, I pay $100, any win above 8, I get $100.

Jets 10-6, I win $200......

Top 5 D,
Top 13 offense
Top 8 pass rush
Mark will play well but not get credit.

We are in the rare situation where the team is going from a "players coach" to a disciplinarian approach, without actually changing the HC. Sparano is going to have an enormous effect on the entire team and I think the defense will be much faster and better then last year.

I also think the AFC is not gonna have the same teams up top this year. Pitts defense is very old and they are without mendenhall. Balt is missing suggs, and flacco has a contract situation hanging over him (i do still expect them to win their division though). Brady is a year older and the defense didn't get much better, plus they are without matt light now....either way its a crapshoot between us and them. The texans are strong (although lost their RG and RT) and I think the chiefs could really surprise people but I think the AFC championship is very much up for grabs and we absolutely have a shot.

At the end of the day, I like our chances to have 10+ wins....our offense should actually be tailored to the talents on the team as opposed to trying to jam square pegs in round holes like schotty did for years and we know we are getting a top 5 defense.

I don't look at Vegas. I say 8-8 just about every year because that's what they are average, till they prove otherwise. ST's needs to get it's act together unless a player steps up like a B.Smith type they aren't stealing a thing I'd be happy with consistent play. So far as the division goes, it's not tough, only one tough team, but when your 8-8 caliber mediocre teams seem tough. I believe next year will be the breakout year. Don't take my bluntness the wrong way, I'm not a good typer and figure most (hah) can read between the lines. A good number of people say if D did this, if D did that, D is the reason we exist and until the O starts pulling it's weight and ST plays well consistently we will always be 8-8, unless you get that rare occasion of backing into the playoffs.

We will struggle early. Then when tebow takes over around week 5, we will go on a run. But the early season struggles will haunt us as we finish 9-7 and miss out on the wild card.
