Kindle Fire, ebooks, ereaders, and all that crap.....

Ok, so I got one of these for the wife so she can read some soft-core porn books whilst on the beach and what not -

Apparently if other people have books they have read they can 'share' them but you need an app to read 'epub' files - anyone have any recommendations on which ones?

Dunno how that works, but Mrs. Big L also has a Kindle Fire for reading soft-core porn at the beach. I'm not sure if she has done it yet, but she can also "e-borrow" books from our local library on that thing. Check your local libraries website.

I bought my wife an ipad last year. She's very happy with it plus I get to steal it and go on JI when at the beach.

My wife just ready 'Fifty Shads of Ghey' & her friends have the remaining pr0n books on their cloud - so in order to share it, she needs a reader that will read those files.

I keep hearing about this 'Aldiko' etc - thoughts?

Very cool tool that lets you change formats of the ebook and export to uour device. Most books are published in ePub format so it might not matter now as much as it did years past.

Which device did you get the wife? A Kindle? If her porn reading friends have a Kindle, I think the sharing is easy.

One thing to note, you can only share with WiFi connection. If she's at the beach, it will be JUST for reading. She has to download all her books before leaving a WiFi spot. No 3G on the Kindle Fire.

Also, the iPad has an app for reading Kindle books, so I'm sure there's something out there to go from Kindle to Nook or whatever. What it is, I don't know.

Yeah, the Kindle Fire - we were both on board with not wanting to add another device to our existing plan, so as long as she downloads her pr0n ahead of time, she's good to go.

As for me - still not reaping the benefits of the wife reading pr0n.

Is there any other female pron out there that we should know about? The wife finished the whole 50 Shades thing (It doesn't get any better after book 1 apparently), and I'm wondering if there's anything else I should put her on to. Every woman seems to have the same reaction to these books. They all say "I don't know what the big deal is?" but then proceed to talk, non stop, about people talking about it.

Kindle sales must have gone through the roof solely on account of chicks not wanting to be seen with the actual book. Not really sure why....every book store has it front and center. Its seemingly everywhere.

I never used it but I know that she buys some books but she also can borrow books online for her Kindle Fire from the library.

A word to the wise -if you're going to borrow your wife's Kindle Fire, the 'carousel' on the front displays EVERYTHING that was recently viewed or played. Kind of like an internet browser history that you can't delete.

So whether you played a hand of Solitaire or did a google search on 'massive cans' , it will show up right on the front, for your wife (or even worse) or kids to find.

Just sayin'...
