I don't have much going on either.

I have to go to some "hippie fest" with the GF on Friday that she volunteers at. She'll be there from tonight until Monday. Exactkly what some freak metalhead like me wants to do...listen to bluegrass music and hang out with crispy vegans.

I thought about setting up and booth and seeing how many of them I could register as Republicans

Actually Im glad I dont have anything going on at all.
Its been an insane couple of months at work - the last couple of weeks have really cut down on my post count.

Maybe I can get some meaningful fishing in and enjoy the time off....(not likely though knowing me)

Not much going on here this week either. Have tomorrow and Friday off.

Finished a ridiculous project last week -- at 2 AM Sat morning, after working since 6 AM Friday morning. Four straight weeks of 14 hour days. Glad it's over, but I'm beat.

Would love to see some fireworks but probably won't go to any. Hubbie having a small medical procedure today so it's a quiet week for us.

Did fix the gas grill this weekend so probably some more bbq-ing, cocktails, and relaxing this week.

Just got back and it was much better than expected. Volunteered with the GF...in exchange, they gave me a full-access/backstage pass complete with free food and free beer

I'd highly suggest it to anyone with even a slight interest in bluegrass/folk music. It's $85 for the whole fest, camp anywhere, drink anywhere, extremely nice people. And it was the cleanest outdoor music thing I ever went to. There was NO litter/garbage anywhere.
