Nice article and good points in there but the proof will be in the pudding. Sounds like Rex is being pulled in a number of ways and that's what separates the great head coaches from the great coordinators that fail.
My number one wish would be for the Jets to realize after last year that they were not an 8-8 team that was unlucky to miss the playoffs but rather a team that was lucky to be 8-8. The Jets played like a 5 win team last year and only played really well for about 3 games. I do think it will be a good thing for this team to be underestimated coming into this year rather than a favorite. Despite Rex's famous hard knocks speech. |

It is about time Rex realized one can't take victory laps for AFC Championship Game appearances. Nice to know that he's into preparing for the season this year. In lieu of promoting his book.
