Romney certainly isn't Reagan, but...

Obama is definitely Jimmy Carter.

Unfortunately, the number of stupid people has increased, as has immigrants used to socialism and handouts. Couple that with college indoctrination and political correctness, and this election is closer than it logically should be.

Well... I can't dispute that (sadly). However...

The demographics were the same in 2010 when the dem's were handed their hands after the midterms.

The glass may be half full, not half empty.

Oh look. A Fox News post in a thread that has nothing to do with Fox News.

Shocking.

ONE news station that reports news liberals don't like. JUST ONE.

We are so sorry that technology has shed light on the fact that schools are failing, govt waste is abundant and taxation will never solve the problem has been so exposed.

It is pretty funny hiow much hatred and disdain there is amongst the left for FOX, which is materially no different and no more or less baised than their competators. Their only sin, leaning right instead of left.

And for that, we get endless posts, images and pure undistilled hatred for anything related to them and anyone who watches them or (heaven forbid) anyone who uses their news (even though so much of their news content is sources from the AP).

It says alot in my view, how intolerant some are about allowing opposing viewpoints to exist.

The only network that's both liberal and operates like Fox is MSNBC - and that's because they modeled themselves after Fox.

CNN, ABC, NBC, NPR are not as biased as Fox or MSNBC. Fox and MSNBC are party shills under the guise of News.

CNN, ABC, NBC, NPR might have left leaning folks working for them, but the mission of their network isn't to put forth an ideological agenda.

And if you're wondering why Fox is hated more than MSNBC it's because MSNBC is irrelevant whereas Fox is he #1 news network (for douchebags).

CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, AP, BBC and the majority of major market newpaper market leaders (like the Washington Post in DC) all lean left as a whole.

All of them.

That does not preclude them from a right-leaning piece from time to time as events dictate. But as a whole, they lean left. Not as far or as obvious/strong left as MSNBC, but left none-the-less.

I am aware we disagree on this point.

Leaning is not activism. Fox and MSNBC are activist. They are purposely shaping the story.

That to me, is different than CNN ripping Palin for being dumb as f*** because she's obviously dumb as f***.

Why should the people being lied to be tolerant of the liars?

Or should we just accept it all under the guise of 'we'll yeah they all lie, but your side is just a little worse".

No thank you.

Using our clown media as a barometer of whether we are tolerant towards others is a little much. Having a good conversation over a pint with someone with different views is a much better indication. Swallowing all or some of what Rupert Murdoch/Roger Ailes (Fox) or Steve Burke (NBC) deems to be "news" is not.

Safety I agree that FOX and MSNBC are the worst of the worst but they all have an agenda and thus are activists on some level. Fox and MSNBC are simply the most blatant for their lack of respect for what this country stands for. They are so bad that it borders on the absurd.

They only shed light when the wrong doers are (D). That does not make them fair and balanced; it makes them complicit in the same hypocrisy.

Agree to disagree, as stated. I see plenty of activism, if more subtle than that at FOX and MSNBC, on all of teh major media providers, in both coverage and editorial decision on what to abstain from covering.

It is, when an equally dumb as **** Joe Biden, or a crazy extremist like al Gore, escapes similar treatment.

Once could, if so inclined, also point out the rather obvious sexism involved in how Palin (who I persoanlly hold in very low esteem) was treated by these media providers on issues beyond policy.

But as we both know, it's only as -ism when a liberal complains it is.

Interesting; A shtick (Yiddish: שטיק) (or schtick) is a comic theme or gimmick.

On a side note, isn't this the thread where you inferred that not watching other media outlets is a sign of intolerance towards other peoples' opinions?
