Can you barbeque on a boat ? Somehow I think you would have no problem getting NY area hampurites together if there was sea-hags, grog and shanties sing-alongs ...

Beautiful boat and photo btw.

The Jets, NFL, and sports in general
Movies, particularly summer blockbusters

I'd say I dedicate the majority of my free time to the above.

I enjoy setting bear-traps to catch ninja teabaggers and then just sitting back with a cold beer and watching the ensuing hilarity.

Music is cool but I'd rather listen to to Howard or something while I'm working...

Love movies and great TV shows... I could kill a whole day watching a marathon of a TV series...

Reading is casual for me... If I'm on vacation somewhere I tend to read more...

Drinking/making an arse of myself...

Great sport, as with everything, not enough time to do it as much as I would like, but always fun when I get out.

This is little Hobie I get out on most often by my house, and actually sailed it all last winter as the lake did not freeze.

God I would love to learn how to do that. I wanted to last year (I think I even asked you) and then I hurt my back -- a relentless injury I'm still dealing with.

Of course sports. I enjoy all sports, and I could watch any and all sports all day long, from football to tennis to rugby to auto racing to curling.

I love the game of golf. I love watching it and I love playing it (although I haven't picked up a club in months because of my back ). I don't even like to keep score... there's just something mystical and harmonious about walking through a course and the motion of the golf swing. It seriously is almost a spiritual experience for me.

Like FFdoots, I've also really gotten into photography the past couple of years. I only do travel photography but I'd love to get into sports photography too. Because of the photography I have a new appreciation for art and museums.

Politics is my main passion though. I love the horse-trading, the inside baseball, the drama of it all. Like the gears in a watch, politics and policymaking is the driving force of our daily lives.

Obviously for me it's fishing. Its the only thing that can make me get up at 3:30 in the morning to be on the water well before sunrise.

We all have various interest levels that peak and valley, but that has been the one consistent thread in my life, since I learned when I was 5.

Now though its mostly about spending time with my girls and spoiling them. When I'm not either of the above, I'm either watching movies or playing videogames. I love the Fallout series & it truly functions as an escape. Its kind of hard for others who don't play to understand. Keeps me sane I reckon.

Oh, so all of that, and farts. Farts, glorious farts. And farting.

Have you read The Legend of Bagger Vance?

You basically just described it. Great read.

There are things that I am passionate about which are a constant, like my family, music, exercise and football. For me it's all about self-actualization. Another step towards that is my path to becoming a nurse (or more). The amount of positive feedback about the decision to do so along with the accompanying pride it gives me is just amazing.

Less evolved are my hobbies of watches and PCs. As a lot of you know, I'm now looking to take up biking, so there's that, too. The next thing I want to do that I am really psyched about is Krav Maga.

I know that all seems somewhat ephemeral, but I believe that is how we grow as individuals.

I'm pretty fortunate. I love my job so that makes life a lot better.

My passions are:

- My family (wife and 2 sons)
- sports (Jets, Yanks, Rangers)
- music
- wine
- history
- golf (will play my first round in nearly 1 1/2 years on Monday after having shoulder surgery. doc cleared me to play!)
