No doubt. As dominant as our offense has been the last few years, just think what we could have done with even a decent defense.

Probably not, but it isn't like we had our choice.

Lewis was never going to leave the ravens.

Something tells me he would have made the one play or tackle that would have stemmed the tide in Pittsburgh. so yea.

Lewis was pissed when Rex didn't try to get him... Pissed.
Everyone thought he was just about done/washed up.

Also Lewis can't do what Bart can.

Bart plays the dirty role of taking on Olineman so Lewis/Harris can make plays.

He did a great job in years 1 and 2... And fell off last year. I think he's going to have a bounce back season.

Lewis is a great player, but Harris is better now.

1. Rex didnt choose, Lewis would have never left
2. No, it may have won an extra game or two, but we wouldn't of won a sb

We didn't "choose" Scott over Lewis. We never had a shot at Lewis he was never leaving Baltimore.

Way to bring an interesting topic to the strip....

Very interesting.....

I dunno.....those 2 AFCCG WERE lost by the Defense. Ray would have hyped them up possibly, or threaten to shoot somebody to say the least.

what about the offense not showing up in the second half against the colts and first half against the steelers???

I dont care who you plug into that defense, it wouldn't of made a difference.

Yes. Unlike other Champions, the Jets defense hasn't had a true vocal leader to rally behind and Lewis fires up a team like no one else in the NFL can.

With that lead in Indy, Lewis doesn't let us blow it. In Pittsburgh, he gets a few key stops and maybe our comeback gets completed. Not to mention all the blown tackles that Scott had, might have actually won a division and not needed the wildcard route at all.

No.

Ray Lewis wouldn't have solved the Schitty problem we had on offense, the ****ty right tackle, ****ty Eric Smith, and the ****ty attitude Holmes had, etc.

No one player or one thing would've made a difference these last few years. It's been a combination of factors -- some long-brewing, some sudden -- and choosing Lewis over Scott wouldn't have changed the outcome.

Besides, it helps to have Terrell Suggs playing next to you and Haloti Ngata in front of you...

No

Scott has only been bad for 1 year he was pretty good the first 2 seasons so it's not like we're chose Anthony Schlegel over Ray Lewis.

Lewis didn't want to leave and the Ravens weren't letting the face of their franchise, their city, go. No way.

It would be like Derek Jeter leaving the Yankees to sign with the Blue Jays or Jeremy Lin leaving he Knicks to sign with Houston (oh wait).

I think this is the most important point.

It's hard to say if they would have made the SB, but there's no doubting that they would have been better with Lewis.
