He was more of an OT guy pre-Hamper. Maybe he never realized that all the Off Topic stuff simply was moved to the Hamper.

In any case, III was also known for starting emotional threads asking for serious advice. They would result in pages and pages of comments, questions, and replies....but he wouldn't come back to the thread for days after the original post. Then, out of nowhere he'd pop back in around reply 120 and say, "oh, I was vacation for a week, everything's cool now and my problem was fixed last week." lol

In any case, welcome back III. It really is good to see you here again. What sneakers are you rockin these days?

Truth, he definitely got his fair share of crap. Probably because in between the jokes we did (at times) offer sound advice which was usually discarded.
Which would make us rail on him even more.

I could have really used a board of cane-shakers as mentors when I was in HS, that's for sure...
Edit: Yes, I'm being serious.
