It's training camp, not the regular season, season doesn't start for another 5 weeks, he'll be able to get back on the field with no contact in a week or two, he'll be able to practice with a no contact jersey by week 3, he'll probably be ready to play in the final pre-season game a little, this is a single broken ribs.

Romo broke multiple ribs last year, and missed a week, and was back on the field playing hurt in two weeks, three weeks tops.

Sure, it sucks because Holmes will miss some of camp, but to say it will be a "huge impact on the season" is ridiculous.

Yes, a broken rib..Not a torn acl...
It all depends on the type of break. Either way he is going to have to play with pain, and it all comes down to the commitment of the player to play through it. Wr is probably the worst position to have to deal with it because of how often you leave your mid section vulnerable.

Again, pending x-rays, its pure conjecture at this point.

Understand...But it's not the end of the season like many here are whining about...My goodness some are acting like the Jets are now going 0-16

Its not. Its just a reminder that the Wr position is thin and lacks experience.

I met a couple at the scrimmage tonight that flew in from Atlanta just to see Tebow

Well, the silver lining here is that inexperience is sure going to get some in the pre-season.

Defensive about what?

You're balling your eyes out throughout this thread with your spin...

So Sanchez is looking good because Rex must have told the defense to take it easy... LOL...

So then what is Tebow's excuse?

True, I just dont like the trend so far with all of these injuries to the WR group. Holmes, Schillens, Kerley Gannaway all dinged up so far.

yep..But they have some big, young, fast guys (Hill, Schiliens, ERiley, DGanaway, RWebber) along with Jordan White, McKnight and Dexter Jackson (an ex 2nd round pick of TB)...Let's see what they have.

Understood, hoping for a positive out of it, players like Schilens, Hill, Kerley when he's back, and White to get some good reps with the offense.

I understand. But he was able to work out. Weight room. Running. Running routes and catching balls from non-NFL personnel.

An improved Sanchez will make these guys look better than they are.

An unimproved one would make a roster full of veterans irrelevant.

Positive spin? Sure, but there's already enough people letting us know just how bad it could be, so I figured I'd help balance the scales . . .

They NEED Schillens to stay somewhat healthy, IF he can it will help the depth a lot. I hope he can get enough work in with Sanchez before the start of the season.

But you were whining how "Timing between a QB and his WR is crucial"..He wasn't getting that timing 2 seasons ago with Mark..He now has 2 seasons worth of timing with Mark.
