If Waters doesn't re-sign, there could be trouble. Mankins and Vollmer also have to come back full strength. Word is Connelly is having a great camp and Waters has a "non-agreement" to show up late to camp. We'll see. Not too worried myself about the O. It's going to be rather tough to defend all of Brady's new toys.

He wasn't have a good camp. I'll bet they were going to cut him and he opted to retire instead.

Gallery certainly didn't live up to the hype, but the I don't think you can label a 10 year starter a bust. Vernon Gholston is a bust. Robert Gallery under achieved.

Gallery is a bust. He was supposed to be a guy that comes in and dominates And makes the Pro Bowl 15 straight years. Meanwhile he didnt do it once. He was not awful but he wasnt good either. And if you pick a guard that high and he doesn't turn into a perennial Pro Bowler its a bust.

Mankins is out until at least November, Gallery was supposed to be his fill-in.

Vollmer is out until who knows when with a back problem, back injuries for OL'n are crippling.

They can hope Waters comes back, not sure what the 35 year old has left.

Real issues on the OL for the Pats, not what a 35 year old QB needs.

Jets have their own real OL issues. Not what an error prone 26 year old QB needs either.

Jets have three pro bowlers on their line who will hopefully be healthy this yr. Brady at 35 needs to be well protected

In the bedroom, perhaps. No more likely than usual to happen on the field, IMO. Worst case scenario is a starting 5 of Solder, Thomas, Koppen, Connolly and Cannon, which is not bad at all. And if they get any meaningful contributions out of Waters, Mankins and Vollmer, so much the better.
