Thus the simple rule (and one of the very few) that I enforce: don't bring poli stuff into the hampur, and don't bring hampur stuff into poli. It's really quite simple, yet there are a few long time posters who are no longer here due to their inability to grasp the concept.

The fact that it's a rule that I made up (quite possibly while hammered) is inconsequential.

It's a good rule, and one I've broken at times. Always to my own regrets.

I'm beginning to remember why we closed Poli-Sci last time. Chuckleheads like me couldn't not let it's odour overflow elsewhere.

And another thing. How come every time I put new tires on my car like today I come out of there feeling like I've been ass-raped? How does a $142 apiece quote for four tires turn into $807? Cuz these ****ing thieves sneak in more charges than the banking and medical professions combined. $55 for wheel balancing? $40 for valve stems? Your supposed to balance the wheel mother****er!!! Charge extra like it's a ****ing bonus? And $90 for a wheel alignment? I didn't tell you to do a wheel alignment dip****! Next time I go for tires I'm gonna tell the ******* up front "I come back and find my wheels aligned and I'm gonna rip your ****ing head off." Surprised they don't charge extra for actually putting air in the tires. But I bet it's coming.
