Of course he wouldn't. We all know that. The point is that we know his schtick and so turning this into a debate (like it does in every other thread) is useless.

Yea in HS maybe, this is the pros and games are won and lost because of it.

I don't find it ironic that Manning won his only SB with Vinatieri as a Colt.

Overrated/10 is Vinatieri. If every single FG had to be clutch, then kickers would be important. This is, however, not the case.

Anyone who really thinks there's a huge difference between kickers is mad.

Worst I have ever felt as a Jet fan.

Herm has to get some of the blame to. Managed that last drive terribly (shocking ). And you have to know when your kicker is shot.

That seems like crazy talk. For teams with juggernaut offenses who will outscore their opponents by 10,15 points or more (those teams we all expect to see in the playoffs) we all expect to see in the playoffs ... agreed ... that is until they meet another juggernaut team in the playoffs.

A team like the Jets who plan on running the ball, not turn the ball over; they will be several if not more games in the season decided by a few points.
The Jets are unlikely to blow any team out of the water with the current offense. A reliable kicker will be very important for the Jets this season.

And we have just that with Folk. We have bigger issues than kicker (which isn't even an issue).

I was at that game. Drove 7 hours 2 get there, watched Doug Brien pull up his socks from the mezz club where Steeler fans offered to buy me sympathy drinks. At the open bar. All class those Pittsburgh fans, but had a blast up until the loss and looking forward to more post season road trips this year too.

(-;

Exactly, the insanity comes from those who engage him in his "debates".

Herm pissed that away, can't blame Brien, nobody made kicks from that distance in that stadium

beg to differ, but for a team that struggles to score points and plans to win games 17 to 16, I think the kicker is ultra important.

Not to mention Chaddy has never had a TD pass or a offensive TD in any game he ever played against the Steelers.. Yet lets blame the kicker..
