Excellent job by the kid. He looks the part...He's in a Stafford situation his rookie year so to speak but with obviously less of a losing record behind the franchise. He also looks to be handling the situation incredibly.

I declared the Jets season over before we even played San Fran and Houston.

We aren't making the playoffs this year. It's cute that you think we have a shot, but I'm not 12 years old anymore and don't just go around blindly claiming that we're in the thick of things.

This offense blows. Two good showings against a couple of bottom feeders like Buffalo and Indy doesn't change that.

Look at the schedule. Plenty more bottom feeders on the way.


Don't confuse making the playoffs with being good. The Bengals and Broncos weren't good last year, but both of them made the playoffs. The Chiefs weren't good the year before, when they made the playoffs. The year the Bucs went 10-6? They weren't good either.

Most of the parity in the NFL is an illusion. Team records fluctuate from year to year because of the unbalanced schedule. 9-7 =/= 9-7. A team that goes 8-8 can be better than a team that goes 10-6 or even 11-5.

This year, if you were lucky enough to draw the NFC or AFC South, congratulations to you. We got the AFC South and the NFC West (which is probably the 3rd worst division). We're a 6-10/7-9 caliber team that can win 9 or 10 games this year because we play a bunch of bad teams. If we'd drawn the AFC and NFC North, then we'd be in big trouble.
