Jake Steinberg @Steiny31
Wayne Hunter will play on Saturday. Chaz Schilens (ankle) is out. #nyj Just cut Schilens already. The guy can not run 10 feet without pulling, straining or tweaking something. |

The Schilens situation is ridiculous. He has to be one of the early cutdowns. Guy with a history of injuries tries to change the "perception" that he is injury prone, but guess what? He's injured all of camp. Cut bait.

forget about impressing - all he had to do was make it thru TC healthy and he was going to suit up on gameday.

The biggest impact Schillens has had in camp was when he got his panties in a bunch with Cro's comments and caused a distraction.
Now Cro looks prophetic. |

Schilens needs to be shown the door, too bad he'll take up a roster spot.

Brian Costello @BrianCoz
Jets' Po'uha out for duration of preseason with tight back #nyj Thats not good either. D line depth is not the issue it once was, but it would be nice to have a deep rotation and keep guys fresh. |

I agree. But if there is one area of the team where we can absorb an injury I think that is the DL. Kenrick looked good the other night. He and Devito will hold down the fort.

Braylon and TO will have FAR more catches the season the Schillens. Dump the guy now. Get a WR somewhere. Opening day is Santonio, Hill, Turner and White!
That would be OK if we could actually Ground and Pound! TJ Conley better have a MONSTER season. |

People need to realize that there are entire days where teams work on blitz packages and situational football, and today may have been blitz day

Except for Hill, the rest of the young guys are late round picks or UDFAs. If they had even a couple 4th or 5th round guys you could feel a little better. Relying on 7th rounders and UDFAs is tough.
