NFLN: Seattle's Tarvaris Jackson open to trade

Just saw it on Total Access.

He is willing to take paycut to be traded.

Not sure how realistic this is for us but I always thought he had some ability. Didn't he take the Vikings to the playoffs?

Would prefer him over Tebow but we know Tebow isn't going anywhere.

As soon as Tebow throws his first interception, fans and the media would be screaming for Jackson to start. We don't need that kind of distraction on this team.

Absolutely.

This is just a conversation. I was interested in what people thought about Jackson.

Even if we wanted him, I don't think we could afford him.

Great arm. Very athletic. Not strong upstairs. You think Sanchez throws inaccurately? Wait until he gets under center. JMO.

He is one of the few QB's worse than Tebow.

Honestly, DD, I'd rather have Tebow as a backup than Jackson.

I'd take him as a backup, but there's no chance that we trade for him. We already spent 2 draft picks on Tebow.

How many Seahawks games did you watch last year. Jackson was a competent NFL QB last year.

Anyone with NFL Rewind, I advise you to watch the Seahawks' games against the Ravens and Bears from last year. Jackson isn't a starting QB in the NFL, but he's much better than he was with the Vikings.

You could have Tebow as the #1 and Jackson as the #2 and run an option offense or maybe the single wing. A back to the future kind of thing. We'd get killed but at least it would be different. Better than watching Sanchez throw pick 6's.

Why, because we 0-2 in the preseason? Why in the world would we be interested in this guy?

I wouldn't bring in another QB unless I think he's an upgrade from Sanchez.

Jackson isn't.

I'm on the Tyler Wilson bandwagon.

YES THIS IS A GREAT IDEA!

Put him in as our Wildcat QB.

Then, Tebow, being that he is jesus/god and is omnipresent, can then play RT, both guards, WR, and FS.
