Tebow, Greene, Hunter, Pace and Scott for MJD and any RT on the Jags roster.

Exactly. Which is why it won't happen.

The collective bargaining agreement between the NFLPA and the owners is not condusive to trades. Especially in season (after March 31st).

Fans often look at other sports like baseball and basketball where trades happen all the time, and ask; "Why don't the Jets just trade for such and such..."

Trades are almost impossible in football during the season (and preseason), unless you have a lot of cap room and are willing to part with #1 or #2 draft picks.

And he is a RB with a lot of mileage already on him. I'd think about it if the Jets were a legit SB contender and RB was the only missing piece. But they are not, and it is not. Pass.

Jets are not getting him. We don't have the money or the room.

Chargers, Pats, Skins, Saints, Steelers and Lions are places I think he could end up if traded.

he's been holding out all summer right? I don't know but RB's that hold out seem like they usually have down seasons coming in out of football shape. I'd be wary

I can't think of any off the top of my head. What RB's are you referring to?

Bold.

But I like it.

And I think Rex would quit before he'd sign off on a Revis trade.

I paraphrasing the term. What I meant was no team would trade for him without a contractual agreement.

How did the CHamp Bailey for Clinton Portis trade work out for the Skins?

Never trade a shutdown corner for, well, nothing....it's just something you just don't do

Jacksonville has virtually no bargaining position here, MJD doesn't want to be there and they don't want to pay him.

McKnight and a 2nd round pick would do it but I personally think thats too much. He isn't technically a rental as he is under contract for 2012 and 2013, but we would probably have to give him an extension which would be costly.

Would have to bag and gag Rex for the day. He'd get over it

Oh wait, how are we supposed to pay this guy?
Jax drafted a punter with the pick they could have used to get Tebow. If thayt doesn't tell you that they want nothing to do with Tebow then I don't know what does. Shonne Greene and an escalating 3rd might do it though. But then we have Revis coming up as well as 3 of 4 of our starting LB's plus both starting safeties gone after this year.

If we trade for MJD...after having a deteriorating line due to pissing away draft picks for overrated players...not saying MJD is overrated but give me a break, we can draft a running back and if we had a stronger line this would work....it just plays into the argument that we have no drafting ability at all......if they do this, I'll be convinced nothing will ever get better
