Does our DL Strength mean we should...
Think about finding a trade partner for one of our D Linemen before we need to release someone at cut down time?
Sione Pouha would be the biggest risk to move if you are not sold on the ability of Kenrick Ellis et al to step up and absorb his playing time. On the other hand Sione is a very solid veteran starter and he might get the most interest of anyone and I think we would get more for him. If we could find a potential partner who has an excess of TE's or RT's then I think that I would be thinking along these lines if I were Mike Tannenbaum. Just a thought. |

Again this isn't a swap of waiver wire bodies but rather a swap of players who would otherwise not be cut simply because both teams have the depth.

Ellis had one good preseason game. You dont trade your starting nose tackle because of this.
