How could they have given Hunter that crazy contract and put him out there with the obvious expectation that he was going to perform this year. The Rams paying some of Smith's salary has made me even keeled on this move.

But if you think that Jason Smith is some kind of upgrade from Hunter, then you're kidding yourself.

The guy is one of the biggest busts in recent memory.

We better pray that Howard's performance on Sunday was the norm, not an abberation. Because we're basically f*cked if we have to rely on Smith as our starting RT.
