Never booed a Jet, never will. Like many here I have complained and given an opinion, but that's what these threads are for. Some don't understand that part.

Same here. I don't think I've ever booed at any sporting event, or any event for that matter. Always seemed like a silly thing to do IMO, a waste of energy. I go to the games to have fun - I don't even boo the opposition.

But I have no problem with people who post critical opinions of the home team on a message board.

Here is a big problem. When people boo it is ALWAYS assumed they are booing the QB. In reality that is not often the case unless the QB is just stinking it up. The fans can be booing a stagnant offense, bad play calling by the oc, pass drops and everyone and their dog (especially the media) will go into a tizzy suggesting they are booing the Qb.

Unless the Jets offense plays great all year there will come a time when the fans boo the offense, it is a given and no one should be surprised or indignant about it.

I booed during "Rent" when the squatters got to stay in the apartment building.

I was also chanting "Get A Job" before I was forcibly removed from the Nederlander Theater.

Of course the season is yet to start but I can see those same 'classless idiots' coming out again, jeering Sanchez and praying for his demise. Just so that they can tell everyone 'see I told you he sucks' or 'I told you Tebow was gonna replace Sanchez by week 4'. As if their own ego is more important to satisfy than the franchise they supposedly root for.

Rooting for Sanchez to fail only shows your true colors as a fan, disloyal, ignorant and fickle. I know there are real Jets fans out there who realize this by the support I received from my last thread.

On a side note if Sanchez was to disappoint us, the only guy on our roster who possesses true QB skills is G-Mac, not Tim (I need 10 minutes to put together a scoring drive) Tebow.

If Tim was to take over as QB, Sparano would have to reconfigure the offense so that it becomes entirely Wildcat. No one will ever win a SB in this league today the way the Broncos played last year. The sooner you realize that the sooner us real fans will be at peace with our fan base.

Boo Sanchez for Tebow and you will hear it from all of US!
Wait, if I'm at the game and I boo Sanchez and hope for Tebow to replace him, that's when I'm supposed to read this? Can you post it to the jumbo screens? That will help a lot.

For those who will boo Sanchez and clamour for Tebow:

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR.

You think 8-8 was a catastrophe? This isn't last years AFC West Tebow would be going against. He will have to put up points (a lot in most games) to compete let alone win consistently. Both the Jets and Broncos were 8-8 last year. Both teams lost their last 3 games. Broncos won their division. What does that tell you?

I wonder if this thinking has actually occurred to those who are falling over themselves to see Tebow be the starting QB?

I've said it many times before. Our Jets home crowds are so infuriatingly pitiful compared to every other NFL team's home crowds.

When this crowd supports the team and makes some serious noise... we are reeaaallly tough to beat. Look at the last two playoff games in this building (er, location) as proof. If we could just get some home playoff games and the crowd was rocking... not one team in the AFC could withstand it. Not even the Chowds.

But our average crowd that mumbles, boos, and leaves early when one thing goes wrong and when the game is on the line... when other teams home stadiums are going ballistic?

1 big difference.

Sanchez has proven that he can get it done againt tough defenses, against the pats, and on the biggest stage.

Chad pennington was absolutley done.

As somebody who cheered, I love when people, make stuff up and say that everybody cheered the injury. No. Everybody was cheering the fact that another QB who has to have a healthy arm was coming into the game. The organization was too dumb to take him off the field themselves even though he couldn't perform. I was a HUGE pennington fan before the surgeries and inability to throw. But, I'm also realistic. If people chant for Tebow to come in it would be the exact opposite situation. People would be chanting for a guy who can't hit tbe side of a barn to come in and operate a pro style offense. That would be stupid.

40 + years of lack luster teams and for the most part, crappy coaching
Pats own us
Giants own NY
can't win the AFCE with Brady out. ..Pennington and Dolphins did.
Watching expansion teams make it to the Super Bowl in less time then the Jets
2013, we'll watch the Bills win the AFCE
Lack of an Elite QB in 15 years

yeah, the fans have every right to boo

TEBOW is the only hope for the team on Offense. ... he'll pull out some wins this season for the Jets

You miss the point. There are certain posters on this board who have a better handle on what it takes to be a real Jets fan and they feel it is their job and god given right to lecture everyone else on the subject.

You are simply supposed accept the criticism and promise to do better in the future. Please get with the program.
