They are in the NFC East which has the best tv ratings in the nfl as the Cowboys, Redskins, Giants, and Philly all have large TV markets and a national following.

The Jets are stuck with the Bills and Dolphins - low rating teams.

Giants own the bragging rights until the Jets win a SB.

The Giants will always have bragging rights. Even when they were losing they did. They are the junior team in the metro area a charter member of the NFL), much like the Mets are to the Yankees. Even a SuperBowl (wishful thinking) wouldn't change that. Which is why if you are a fan, you really don't give a crap about that stuff anyway. At least that's my take.

I somewhat disagree. It's not like the Jets were great when the Giants were bad so there was nothing there. Unfortunately the Jets have not been the model of consistency, that sprinkled in with some bad failures has made the Jets fall behind. The Mets during the mid-eighties ran this town with the Yankees barely getting any press and were hated nationally. The only anomaly is the NHL. The Rangers, an orginaization of futility still maintained some presence during the Islanders dynasty era solely based on playing in NYC.

If the Jets ever got that stadium built in Manhattan it would have made the Jets an immediate threat to the Giants...

TV revenue is shared equally among all NFL teams.

The Giants have sold out season tickets which included PSLs in the Upper Deck.

The Jets have yet to sell out their stadium and have had to reduce ticket prices.

as is merchandise and ticket sales (60% home, 40% visitor).

The only thing not shared are concession sales, luxury boxes, etc.

I rather not be stuck with a PSL in the upper... lots of those seats are not worth 1.000 . The Jets did the smart thing by not doing that to the fans.. I bet some Giant fans are stuck with that PSL

What does that have to do with anything?

TV money is split equally among the 32 teams.

And so is merchandise.

Apart from Woody, and pointless bragging, why do we care what the team is worth?

It's not like we're Jacksonville.

It's like getting worked up because the Mets are worth less than the Yankees.

The only real reply is....so?

Makes sense with all they have won. So that puts us at over a Billion and around 6th most valuable team in the league?

Plenty of Giants PSLs left as well, clubs anyways.
