TV Help - Need a 70" for less than $3000

I impulse bought a 70" Sharp (Model # 70C6400U) LED LCD at Costco for ~ $2400. Thrilled with the size and most viewing though LED's are awkward at first as people are almost "too real" and their movements are paradoxically almost robotic - but I'm accustomed to it and like it now.

The issue: Watching a flying football/baseball/etc. The TV badly blurs balls moving rapidly in the air (insert joke here). I bought the TV for football and it bothers me enough that I may return it.

What should I buy and what features to ensure this doesn't happen in my next TV - thank you. You advice is much appreciated.

You need to adjust your TV. And turn off some options such as "movie motion", etc.
Note: in this TV play with Play mode (set to OFF), Digital Noise reduction (set to OFF) and Motion Enhancement (try 120 High, but can be different setting). And (important) turn OFF AQUMOTION.

I have the same model (I believe-i didn't check model numbers, but the pricing is the same), and I have not had those issues.

Actually, I have been very pleased with it, and I have been an avid Samsung user

Ok going to try it now.

I have actually called Sharp and they had me adjust a lot of setting which slightly improved the blurry object issue but pixelated all the images as a consequence.

Think we have a winner!!!!!

RG - my eternal gratitude.... you just saved me hours of my day and probably a couple hundred bucks. This has been a thorn in my side for 2 months. Literally fixed it in seconds and the Sharp Help never mentioned this setting, we were adjusting contrast/color/etc for about an hour.

Yet more proof that the Hampur can literally fix the world's problems.

I've noticed that during every Jets game, the image on my 54" LCD gets progressively blurrier and blurrier, and by the end of the game it's like a double image.

Any tech help would be much appreciated.
