Driving to METLIFE Questions:

I am going to the game tomorrow. I am planning leaving from queens at 9AM. What is the best way to go? The GW Bridge or thru the City?

I just want to get there the fastest and avoid traffic. Hoping to arrive before 10:30 so I can have ample time to tailgate.

Please advise...

Home opener. Picture-perfect sunny weather. 1PM September start. Jets atop the AFC East. Nope, no traffic there.

Leave at 9 you'll get there by 10 if you know the Secret Back Way into the Stadium.

ok.

Well my next question is what is the secret back way into the stadium?

Should I go thru the city or take the GW?

You have to ask that to someone coming from that way the gates open 5 hrs. prior to kickoff, opening day, great weather it's gonna be a madhouse.

If you know your way around the parking 9:00 may be ok if not be in your car driving to the stadium by 8:30.. Its all about how close you want to park and how quickly..

I have a green parking pass I bought off of craigslist for 45 bucks. So I will be parking in the Green section.

Go thru the city, you'll be fine. Take the midtown tunnel, go crosstown to the Lincoln and then take rt 3 to the game. You should be there by 10.

Ok good so like I said how close and how quick. The most annoying thing is getting there and taking a 1/2 hour to park. When you have to maneuver around tailgates it gets old real fast.

Thanks Man.

Does 17 S just lead right in to MetLife? Will there be signs?

If it lead right into MetLife there would be a car pile-up never seen before by man.

Try getting off @120

Getting there is never the problem. It's going back that you should be worried about...
