I kinda like these replacement refs. They're letting the players play and the reviews are short.

He needs to STFU with his "hands to the face" comments. You're the highest paid defensive player and did nothing against a first time starter. He's just embarrassed.

They meet again at the end of the season. By then Howard should have much more experience. Williams sounds like a cry baby!

Two things.
1: Coples dragged down Spiller for a loss, and laid a mean hit on Fitztragic. Don't act like he did nothing. 2: Coples is a rookie, not a prized free agent veteran with a $50 million price-tag who was proclaimed to be an elite pass-rushing monster who then proceeded to get shutdown by a udfa with 0 starts. I saw Howard swat him on helmet, from arms length, on one play. The impact was loud enough to be heard over the regular noise of the play. I was surprised (and pleased) a flag wasn't thrown.
I'm liking Austin Howard. |

If Williams is letting Austin Howard punch him in the face all game and does nothing about it, pretty much tells me all I need to know about Mario Williams.

He should have padded his helmet with some $100. bills to protect him from the big bad undrafted free agent making league minimum.
