Shonn Greene - Seen enough?

Personally, I'm done with this guy. 11 carries for 23 yards. Not good enough. He doesn't have the skills to be "the guy". I'm all for Bilal Powell seeing more snaps as we progress through this season.

Thoughts?

Shonn Greene gets injured when the wind blows.

You'll see plenty of Powell this season.

It's hard to believe he'll be a starter for much longer.

He started pretty strong then got a head knock. Til then he was average 5 yards per carry.

At least Powell had some moves and spins that got extra yardage. Hope we see a lot more of him.

a 2.1 average for a running back in any league{ even arena} is unacceptable....

time to test the free agent market for a hidden gem...

I'm way past the point of seeing enough.

With Greene, we basically have zero chance of picking up any sort of chunk plays unless we do it through the air.

He's a totally one dimensional inside runner. You can't rely on a guy like this in a workhorse role.

Greene has no moves. He runs straight ahead (usually into a pile) and that's it.

I saw enough about a month into last season. I liked Greene in college and I was glad when we drafted him, but I never saw him as a workhorse at this level. The Jets want to use him as a workhorse. He'll get you 3-5 yards, anything more than that is a gift. He also fumbles and gets dinged up pretty frequently. RB is a huge need right now.

He's not enough of a threat at anything to be a proper #1 rb and is more of a closer.
We need to see more of Powell and McKnight while the game is still manageable.

Kerley should've seen a hell of a lot more passes at WR given Holmes' inept performance

I was so shocked, after powell came in and showed an actual burst that we didn't stay with him.

Greene being knocked out for a week or 2 could have been exactly what we need....
