True statement. To another posters point... The Giants Corners are no better than Cromartie and Wilson will be. However, Tuck, Pierre Paul and Boley et al are a great D-Line. Plus Offensive talent is better than Jets and are able to keep drives going, score points and keep opposing offenses off the field.

People dont want to hear this, but with our pass rush, good QB's move the ball at will, Revis or not. Brady doesn't care about Revis. Revis covers one guy two if in zone coverage. Go find Gronk or now Winslow in the slot that our slow LB's cant cover. Or find the one on one with Cromartie.

One elite player at CB, while exciting to watch isn't going to make as much difference as most think without a good pass rush.

Yeah, like Giants fans, who even though their team has improbably won the SB twice in the past 5 years, have almost all wanted to fire the coach, bench the QB, and start over on D at various points during that span.

I am a loyal fan... I support them......I just don't think they are very good right now. But next week I will once again watch them on the Sunday Ticket I paid for, Scream my head off at the TV, and put up with my Patriots fan wife, (although she is VERY quiet today!), and if I make it to NYC this fall I will be on stub-hub to try and buy tickets.

But I refuse to wear green colored glasses about the Jets this year. They are average.....aint gonna do any better than 8-8 in my opinion. But I am still gonna watch em every weekend!

Clearly disloyalty amongst the fans on message boards is the reason that the team does not have a record of success. It is so plain to see now that it has been pointed out to me. I feel all enlightened and sh1t. Imagine the idea of having the temerity to question, together with my fellow Jets fans the wisdom of roster moves, front office decisions or the play calling after games! What could I have been thinking?
