Defenders standing around
obviously everyone here is away that we are having trouble getting to the qb. I noticed a few times this past sunday that there were a lot of defenders standing around on defense, that were supposed to be rushing the passer (or so it seems)
Here is an example. What are these 3 defenders doing?

We also seem to be late getting set on quite a few occasions ... Miami had a QB sneak where the D line were still shifting around and the LB's were looking at each other signalling and so on. Miami snapped the ball, picked up about 4 yards.

I could not tell if the D moseying around was designed confusion or actually confused players. We need to excell at fundamentals before getting cute

It's a pressure move; to rob the QB of time on the play clock. Doesn't always work.

They've had it pounded in their head to control their lane to stop the run thus they get no push and are not given the leeway to freelance. It's also the pathetically stupid 3 man rush.
