Jets to announce two newest Ring of Honor Inductees this week

Will be announced sometime this week on JetsTalkLive via the Jets website. Induction will be at halftime of the 10/7 MNF game vs Houston. Predictions?

Mine are Kevin Mawae and Ken O'Brien

Ken O'Brien should never be in the ring of honor. He wasn't that good.

Mawae one day should be, although I don't know if it would be this soon.

My guesses are Dennis Byrd (they are retiring his jersey) and Wesley Walker. Dark horses: Mo Lewis and Kyle Clifton. Realistically, if our Ring of Honor is more than 10-15 players total, we are a joke. We won one championship in franchise history and we haven't had that many good players.

Inducting Mo would create a s**storm. Fans would get all over him for being "responsible" for creating the Evil Empire known as the Pasts*. Should they choose a LB from the 90s/00s, I would rather see them go with Marvin Jones anyways

Please. Nobody blames Mo for that. It was inevitable. Bledsoe wasn't good. Marvin Jones wasn't even a consistently good player. I don't think he should be in the ring of honor either. Our best player of that era was Mo Lewis by far.

I've only been watching the team since 1991, but I think Chrebet should be one of them

I really don't think anyone else is worthy. Maybe Gastineau, but wasn't he hated by his teammates? Maybe Chrebet.

Lol at Kenny O Brian, he was childhood qb so ill always have a special spot in my heart for him but he wasn't ever great. Walker, Mawae, they deserve it. Wayne def doesn't IMO.

Just looked up Mawae's accomplishments. 6 time All-Pro while with the Jets? I don't even remember being that impressed with him. Center and Fullback must be the easiest positions to make All-Pro.
