I do not think it is a coincidence that this team has gotten soft over the past two years during Alosi's absence. Injuries aren't the only problem.
You can tell the Jets were doing everything to try to keep him after the incident. I guess the pressure was to much. |

here's an interesting article ... http://www.biomechfit.com/2012/09/28...ury-prevention ...
"... a growing body of evidence has been calling many of the supposed benefits of stretching into question for the majority of the population, and as it turns out there is little credibility to the claim that stretching will prevent injuries." maybe they're over-stretching |

As I recall, Andre Agassi didn't believe in stretching prior to playing tennis. |

IMHO the early morning workouts that Rex has changed to aren't helping the hammy problem one bit either.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that it's harder to warm up muscles early in the morning as opposed to later in the day and not enough rest for recovery. The early morning starts in training camp combined with the up tempo practices equal exactly what we got, almost all our receivers have had problems with their hammys, quads, calfs etc. |

Whole bunch of over analyzing in this thread... I especially love the BS spin that the team has gone soft the last two years... and we are blaming loss of Alosi? ![]() Soft tissue injuries happen with every team, they are bound to happen, 90 roster players in camp, heat, extreme physical activity after a long period off, it becomes a numbers game, not every player will make it through unscathed. No different than any other team. Last edited by Ray Ray19; 09-30-2012 at 12:58 AM. |

Are people saying that professional athletes, who are suppose to be in great shape to begin with, are not properly trained and the organization can't find someone who is competent enough to replace Alosi? Or was this guy, that good?
