Have You Ever Donated to a Candidate?

Just curious, have you ever given money to a candidate for office?

Also:

If yes...local or national? Why?

Why not?

Yes.... a black congressman (candidate) running in a district not my own, but in NC. Heard him on a local radio show, liked his conservative values and would love to see more minorities in the conservative movement.

He lost....

Yes, local. Same reason I tend to give donations quicker to local charitable donations, more impact in my community.

Yes, local. Because I knew the people running.

I also bought some Romney swag for my dad like 6 weeks ago (he has his own business and I thought a t-shirt that says "I built it" would amuse him). I never received it and I'm pretty pissed off. It was supposed to be part of his birthday gift.

So you're saying Romney's a crook?

If buying a t-shirt counts than yes. I don't even wear them just like the idea of having an old political campaign t-shirt in 15-20 years.

I donated sperm at multiple Barney Frank fundraisers.

Don't judge.

I dared Mike Petrowski (major burnout) to run for class president; offered a case of beer and a bag of dirt weed if he had the balls to do it. We got as far as putting up some pretty funny wastoid posters in the halls before getting reprimanded by the doosh vice principal. Not sure if this counts.
