The idea that Eli would be as successful on the Jets as he has been on the Giants is borderline insane.

The Giants FO, unlike the Jets, knows what to do to surround Eli with players to help him succeed.

The Jets would do the exact thing they've done with Mark : Surround him with NOTHING.

And you all think Eli's so-called "Greatness" would still shine through?

Not even Joe Montana in his prime could make this Jets team competitive.

Yes. Absolutely. Greatness shines through. So does passing accuracy.

Then, (and I say this with the utmost respect toward you), YOU'RE LOONEY-TUNES!

Surround a Great QB with crap, and you'll get crap as a result. Maybe he elevates that crap into Mediocre but that's about it.

No way on that last statement. Starting from last year, Ill make a list and you guys decide who would you rather have on your team. (I'll mix it up for fun).

Holmes
Hixon
Kerley
Nicks
Burress
Manningham
Mason
Cruz
Turner
J Hill
S Hill
Gates
Schillens

I bet if you were to pick 4 guys most would be Giants. Giants receivers seem to break tackles (especially Cruz) and make outstanding catches (Hixon). Jets guys dont have that quickness and the lack the speed to take it to the house if they break away.

But really good QBs can still thrive with mediocre receiving corps. Eli absolutely has - but for Sanchez, it's just another excuse to explain why he sucks.
Just think about it. When did Eli Manning ever have a very poor WR corp.

Eli has had HOF caliber RBs see Barber (he was better IMO than CM)...

And All pro WRs and TEs like Shockey...

When did Eli ever have a terrible offensive talent around the answer is NEVER!!!

The Giants focused on surrounding Manning with excellent talent. Their HC was an offensive coach and not myopic in his viewpoint regarding defense where Rex was a DC coach who didn't until this year respect what the offense did!!!!

It is for this reason alone that tells you why Coughlin would never permit the Giants WR corp to be like the Jets becuase he knows what he is doing!!!!!

Look at last night with the Packers.
This is true. Giants players familiarity with each other and their passing routes seem on a different level than the Jets. It also comes with more playing time together and experience etc. Sanchez doesn't have that familiarity with his WR's. And the only WR's who had familiarity and would go all out on every play are gone.

Yeah, such all-world talent like low round draft picks in Barden and Hixon, and free agent pickups like Cruz. And what have the Giants done with their TEs? Anytime one of them developed, they either traded the guy or let them chase money following the season.

Kerley would be having a big season right now if Eli was throwing him the ball. He's flashed that type of ability this season, he just isn't in the right offense right now. And we know Holmes career path would look remarkably different had he been traded to the Giants, not Jets.

There is no arguing with those in the Cult of Sanchez. No one can possibly be successful in this offense! No one I tell ya!

The bottom line is that Eli was the Jets QB, we'd probably be 5-1 right now.

Who is arguing that Sanchez is as good as Eli Manning!!

No one, but the idea that surrounding talent around a great QB doesn't help that QB doesn't make any sense and is simply not true.

If that was the case teams with quality QBs wouldn't draft any offensive talent they would just let their QBs elevate their undrafted FA and let the QB turn those WRs into Jerry Rice!!!

Come on now......
