Darrelle Revis underwent surgery today for his torn ACL.
John Munson/The Star-Ledger

Darrelle Revis underwent surgery this morning, going under the knife as Giants team doctor and orthopedic surgeon Russ Warren performed the procedure.

John Geiger, Revis' marketing and business manager, tweeted this photo of Revis putting both thumbs up so the assumption is that everything went well. Revis received a patellar tendon graft.

Wondering if it was allograft or autograft.

Why the **** don't we have our own team doctor?

Seriously hoping the Giants doctor didn't mess it up on purpose. It'd suck for this to turn into a career ender because of Woody's cheapness...

Because we're the spawn of Leon Hess and Steve Gutman.

We won't pay what he wants, use the injury as an excuse.

The Dallas Cowboys will pay him, Rob Ryan keeps it in the family.

Yeah, that seems like something a respected surgeon would do.

He's not James Woods from Any Given Sunday. The guy was personally recommended for this specific graft by Dr. James Andrews.
