Finally.

The first thought to cross Marcus Dowtin's mind when Jets head coach Rex Ryan pulled him up to the team's active roster this week. The undrafted free agent hybrid defensive player has – what he calls – a God-given talent and he's ready to show everyone in Jets Nation what they've been missing in their first six games.

"Once I get that shot I believe Jets Nation will see what I can do,' he said.

Not smart kid. Bragging about how hard you hit is sure to get you targeted in Saturday's referee meeting and sure to get the Jets flagged for a tick tack call somewhere during the game.

It's great to be a hard hitter, but in the goodell "nfl" you can't brag about it.

Has some nice highlights. Not sure how well that translates to the pro-level, and considering he's been on the PS for however long doesn't really speak highly of him.

But, hey. Never know.

Too bad he wasn't named Westerman, MTV, Ricky Sapp or any of the other JAGS that have been hyped here, his words would have been posted as inspiration and talk of him being our "insert the all pro" type player.
