For whatever reason, the Jets are better without Santonio
edited title: I meant without
The offense has been loads better without him. They've run the ball, and scored almost almost 30 per game without him. I don't know if it's an Eli/Shockey thing or what, but he should just get chucked after this season. And with that said, I love Darrelle Revis. And I won't even attempt to say the Jets are better without him, but the defense has played great after that game against San Francisco. These situations demonstrate one absolutely vital thing about football: it's a team game. It's ineffective to dump money into guys like Santonio Holmes and Darrelle Revis. Spread it around. They could get 2 1's for Revis. Last edited by BIGKIDD325; 10-21-2012 at 08:19 PM. |

What are the biggest draft pick return for one player in NFL history in a situation comparable to Revis?
I don't know what the return would be, or if it would be worth it. He's so good. |

We once got 2 1's for Keyshawn. That draft turned out to be great for us.

It hasn't even crossed my mind that either guy is missing.
Santonio especially, even when he was on the field making occasional plays for us, I felt it was hard to root for him. Don't miss him one bit. |

Playing 2 garbage defenses helps (Colts and Patriots) and they scored 10 points on offense without Holmes against the Texans
With Holmes they destroyed Buffalo (bad defense), and got shut down by Pitt and San Fran which would happen without him anyway |

Curious as to what teams would be willing to give for Revis considering his injury and contract situation. I'd really prefer to keep him, but yeah Holmes can go.
