Has anyone else noticed?

Jets vs Miami (Cold stone lock that Miami wins at home in sept)
Jets beat Miami in Miami
* Media- Miami is HORRIBLE one of the worst teams in the league!
Miami wins their next 2 games

Jets vs Houston
* Media- Jets have NO SHOT BLOWOUT!
Jets have many chances, couple of JJ Swatts away from victory- lose by 6
Texans lose to Packers
*Media- I guess that Jet game proved there not that great
Houston THROTTLES the Ravens 43-10

Jets vs Colts (Luck will shred that Jet secondary without Revis)
Jets BLOW OUT Colts
* Media- The Colts are the worst team in the league
Colts win there next game

Jets vs Pats
*Media- Jets have NO CHANCE could be biggest blowout in the history of football
Jets lose a game they definitely should have won (I live in Pats land & let me tell you its the 1st time I have ever heard their fans say,"Jets should have won, we got lucky as hell")
*Media the next day- Patriots are NOTHING to what they used to be. Headlines "ARE THE PATRIOTS AVERAGE?"

Gotta admit it's pretty funny.
Does any team change the medias perception of another team as much as after the Jets play them?

Not quite on the same line of thinking but SF blew out the Jets 34 - 0 then SF the next week beats the Bills 45-3. Maybe SF is just that good.

Jets were reeling with injuries

Is that a cross between aberration and abortion? If so, I would agree
