Thousands turned away!!!!— S McManus (@ShannonMcManus5) October 24, 2012 Drove 500+ miles to Romney rally at Red Rocks. Didn't get in. Don't mind (much). Crowd huge. 1000s couldn't get in. Some of the tweets are quite illuminating on liberal thinking:
If you oppose ANY Government Spending or spending Increases, you are barred from using ANY public infrastructure of any kind. Nevermind that Romney personally paid hundreds of thousands of times more than the "average" citizen in tax money to the State, he should be barred from using public structures or faciltiies, or face withering critcism for doing so. It's such a silly argument, yet I bet at least a few of our resident libs were nodding their heads when they read that section "Thats right, thats MY Red Rocks, how dare Romney use it!"

I guess being a celebrity is only a detriment if you are a Democrat.

You need to change your handle from "Warfish" to "Strawman" or maybe "Strawfish" for you are the king of the straw man argument. Red Rocks is one of the best Amphitheaters in the country. It has great sound it was built at the perfect 'angle' and has really, really wide comfortable rows. It was built to sound good… to deliver art … not turn to as much profit as possible. But you know what ... in the long run there has been a huge financial ROI from the amphitheater. It was built using government funds and it is an awesome venue. If Red Rocks was proposed today Governor Romney would oppose it being built. |

The only way Red Rocks would be proposed by a Democrat today is if it was paid for by rich Republican tax payers. Democrats don't even support organized labor paying for Universal health care or their own SS and Medicare.
