I'm pretty sure we're not getting hit in Jersey until about Tuesday.

Let's see...the forecast for East Rutherford for tomorrow is cloudy with occasional showers during the day and showers with some wind at night.

The "storm of the century" will be off the coast of NC.

CANCEL THE GAME!!! THE WORLD IS ENDING!! SWEEPS MONTH IS BEGINNING!!!!!!

Dude.

That hurricane is pushing sub 28's on the barometric index. When it sweeps into the cold frontal system dropping for the canadian plains, and tricrosses with a low southwest dry front it could get dirty.

I will be at the game tomorrow sitting in the upper part of the bowl. I agree the game needs to be played but this situation is quite similar to Hurricane Irene where there are a lot of evacuations taking place and people doing storm preparations. NJ is shutting down all NJ State Parks after Noon tomorrow. I could see the point of at least discussing if you want to add all the traffic to the NJ turnpike. Thankfully it's a 1:00 game and everyone will be be driving home after we sweep the Dolphins. Seriously though, I am an avid weather enthusiast. THis storm means business in New Jersey and NYC metro area. This will end up being worse than Irene at least with the tidal flooding and wind damage.

Has Ed Rendell weighed in? I think he's the final authority.

The Irene game was a preseason game though

It will be played. Going to be rain and wind which makes for crappy tailgate conditions but shouldn't affect the game itself. Jersey shore evacuations should be done by 4pm but the stadium isn't anywhere near there.

According to Weather.com:

Tailgate (8am-1pm): 13-15mph winds, 30-50% of rain.
Game (1-4/430pm): 15-16mph winds, 50-60% of rain.

Relax people. I don't know how many times the news has to say it isn't going to hit until Monday evening for it to sink into peoples heads.

I will be there tomorrow just no grill for me. I have no patience with my leg still in a boot and everyone is exhausted from emptying their patios/basements since a few of us in my tailgate flooded during Irene
