Last QB

Just out of curiosity, who was the last Jets QB who had the unified support of us the fans...Vinny? Since I've been here we've roasted every QB we had.

There's no QB any team's fans will always support. It depends on what year you ask them. The last time we had a QB where absolutely no one hated him was Chad in his 1st season starting until all his injuries started and his arm strength deteriorated to no longer being NFL caliber.

Vinny '98
Pennington '02

Those are probably the only seasons I can remember where the whole fanbase was really behind the QB play.

Vinny in '98, then his achilles blew on the first play.

Ray Lucas after he saved the season............and was then cut or traded.

Pennington following '02. What a season he had.

The better question is when was the last time we had a legit QB for more than one season? Vinny broke down in '99. Chad was never the same after the '03 injury. And Sanchez needs the All Madden team.
