how is it a liberal country? its a 50/50 split. perhaps that is healthy

Yeah but there's only one president and it looks like the Dems will hold majority of the Senate again...I didn't give stupid California 55 freakin votes.

when it really comes down to it, there isnt much of a difference between dems and repubs. they all suck ass for corporate donations and pander to special interests. this is why its funny to me listening to some people wine and get hysterical at the though of a big romney defeat

it will all be fine people

OVER

FOUR MORE YEARS

Governor Romney fought the good fight but the GOP can no longer write off the Non-white, Non-male vote and win

Look for Senator Rubio of Florida to be a strong contender against whoever runs for the Dems in four years... I don't think it will be Joe Biden

The electoral college is bull****. When all you need is 270 votes and California alone has 55, it's obvious reform is necessary.

hopefully they find some way to get campaign finance limits back into the US political process because these billion dollars of union, corporation and superpac dollars in this cycle was frankly OBSCENE

states are all different. if you are a super conservative NYer and you are unhappy, go move to piss ass mississippi with your kind. If you are a progressive liberal frustrated with closed minded rednecks, go move to mass, cali or NY

its as simple as that

The electoral college is fine. What needs to change is the "winner takes all" system in most states. The electoral votes should be split based on the popular vote breakdown.

100% agreed, even it worked out for my guy tonight.

I actually voted Gary Johnson here in NY just because I knew my vote wouldn't matter here - might as well try to boost the third party with the best chance to receive 5%.

If I was in a swing state, obviously I'd be voting Obama.

Regardless, at least the election cycle is over now and we don't have to listen to as much rhetoric.

Yeah, that I can agree with too. I wouldn't mind seeing electoral votes split.

Karl Rove thinks Ohio isn't really in yet lol
