I didn't see the perceived lack of arm strength. He seemed to throw the ball, and hit his man in stride, on a few 40+ yard passes. With our line I doubt he'd have time for a WR to run a longer route anyway. Granted that was against college competition, bur ir seems to me the team needs to find out about him in game mode. If nothing else then to see if he's a viable backup.

Yep, he makes Pennington (Post Injuries) look like Peyton Manning.

That, and the fact he blabbed last season, and almost surely is primary balbber #1 again this season, surely doesn't help him.

Perhaps McElroy should win a job on the field, not in the media.

I agree that he should be given a shot. If all goes well, both Sanchez and Tebow are not going to be on the roster next year. It would be wise to see if McElroy deserves a roster spot moving forward.
