I guess my point was hoping Rex would be more critical of poor play

I'm not quite there yet, but slowly moving towards the contingent of fans who want Rex gone and to clean house after the season. I can't take this guy's denial and defiance anymore though. It's a joke. Does he think we're idiots?
To get this riled up over a press conference? Yes, you may be an idiot.

Don't you realize that everything Rex says to reporters is all for show? If you think those are his honest opinions I've got a bridge to sell you.

Media relations 101; generic answers, limited details, very limited opinion.

Yes, Rex realizes everything you've asked. He's just not going to give you the satisfaction of telling you.

He's also not given us satisfaction through losing.

You know that is what I used to think also but it is plain to see by his on the field actions that he is just to damn stubborn for himself like his dad was. Most coaches would at least say I have to evaluate everyone including the qb not blantaly say he is the starter no matter what. That is bad coaching 101 nothing more nothing less.

I think he is better as a losing coach in front of the media than he is as a winning coach. At least he isn't saying he is a defensive genius or that this is a great team.

He is trying not to let the players get to low, the problem is he lets the players to too high after wins. Teams need a steadying influence not just in bad times but in good times as well.

I really believe that if another GM gave him a team he would be a lot better the 2nd time around.
You can't change a leopard's spots.

If he gets another job it'll be because of the good old boy network of the NFL or to help a team sell tickets.

No he doesn't even have a decent conversation with fellow jets fans or care to see we have been on here discussing football in general not just jets. He thinks I am not a fan of the jets because I like tebow over his idol suckchez, Even though my join date coincides with tebow being on the Florida gators.

You say that but the same players are playing. Sanchez is still starting. Scott is still covering fast RB's out of the backfield.

If he believed something was wrong he would do something about it. He hasn't!

Agree with everything except the last line.

I don't think Rex could ever be consistently successful as a HC. He would need a great Assistant HC who handled the game for him. I don't think he will ever be a good game day HC.

Exactly.

In four years Rex has shown little growth as a HC. He has gotten everything he wanted. He came into an ideal situation with a solid roster and a chance to draft a QB high in the draft. He had a GM and owner that gave him A LOT of freedom. His fingerprints are all over this team and the team has regressed every year.

Probably not. But sg3 did call up Sean's weekly show and beg to be unbanned earlier this season. Pathetic.
