I called 6-10 a the beginning of the season. Even this is starting to look like a long shot.

9-7 probably won't even be enough. Colts have 4 winnable games left (for them) and Texans may not need the last game. Steelers have a great D and will handle lesser teams even without Ben.

Regardless, when the Cards beat us 6-3 next week, this talk will end.

Question for the OP(and others in this thread) :

How in the world can you POSSIBLY believe that...

1.) The Jets run the table and win 5 straight to get to 9-7

2.) Mark Sanchez doesn't play like garbage the rest of the way(highly unlikely)

and

3.) See 1 & 2.

Heck.....even the GOOD TEAMS *slip up* at least once!! Winning 3 games in a row is tough.....But FIVE? Those odds are as bad as Mark's QB'ing performance this past Thursday.

This team can't win 5 in a row. The Jets suck as bad as any team in the league. And unless we have a total clean out then I'm done supporting them.

Next game vs. Cardinals: toss up honestly. There defense is good, but I expect us to win

@Jacksonville: Chad Henne replaced the awful Blaine Gabbert and is playing very well. I'll be there, but could definitely see us losing this.

@Tennessee: They suck, win.

Vs. SD Chargers: They're not too good either, but they can score points. Again, tossup.

@Buffalo: They'll be packing it in. We've had Buffalo's number since Rex got here. Win.

So at worst I see us finishing 6-10, and then of course if we actually play up to our potential we can possibly finish out 9-7. This team is just too inconsistent though. They have no identity on offense, are playing awful on special teams, and have a joke of a coaching staff. Defense has been playing better of late, but with how bad our offense is it doesn't even matter.

Prediction: 7-9

9-7 is a huge reach. what they need right now is to win two in a row. but they need to play a whole lot better just for that.

I don't think it will happen, but strange shlt does seem to happen all the time in the NFL...We'd have a better chance of getting on a roll with McElroy, tho
